Yup on all accounts! This still sticks with me even after watching its premier as a kid. And his bat design is perfect - monstrous but identifiable, and clean animation lines.

So many people's favorite TMNT theme song is the classic 87 cartoon. A few lovers of 03 and 12 (and I'm sure even some guy likes the Red Sky era of 87 unironically!) But for me, it's always gonna be this theme. It's catchy, it fits these teens thematically, and NO LYRICS. I love that for me.

Have I mentioned I live in a rough neighborhood on top of being disabled? With mobility issues that will act up due to a botched hip/leg surgery? My car is dead? So health and safety is at risk unhoused? That, and I just want to wash my hair? Please? It’s dirty. It smells. And soap?!?! Please
