Denmark just did the unthinkable: they abolished their Ministry of Agriculture, stripping industrial farming of its 130-year-old seat at the center of power. Things look very different here in NZ, but this gives me hope. Read my thoughts on Substack: open.substack.com/pub/larssona...

A new Danish study has linked nitrate in drinking water to an increased risk of stomach cancer, at levels much lower than New Zealand's current legal limits. Drinking water nitrate has also been linked to an increased risk of bowel cancer and preterm birth.
