I keep forgetting to take pictures, but tonight I made some BBQ chicken tacos with mashed avocado, apple slaw, quick-pickled shallots, crumbled cotija, crispy fried onions, and a sprinkle of lime. Very pleased with how they turned out.

I racked up a bunch of credit card debt right out of college. Don’t do this. I was paying for flights I couldn’t afford. So that I could come home to see my mom. While she was going through chemo. (She’s cured now btw.) I have zero regrets.

Not a doctor but a nurse… told me I could remove a massive bruise by rubbing a warm hard boiled egg on it. Supposedly the egg would actually change color as it absorbed the bruise straight through my skin. 🤨
