I only did change it from monochrome to colour and made characters 1.5 times bigger, but now it takes like 5 times as long to draw the background. It really makes me realise why game dev budgets keep increasing over time!

Altho many japanese-coined English terms, or wasei eigo, are rather nonsensical, I think "fried potato" is actually more logical than the real English term
