Just before the pandemic my wife and I were in a small hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the Hendersons happened to be there at the same time as private citizens. We'd see them around, and you could see from the way he carried himself that Paul doesn't expect much privacy when he's out and about! 2/

I was working night crew at a grocery store then, so I was able to watch daytime games (alone at home, which reduces the hysteria of the response! 😅) Anyway, I can't think how there could ever be a bigger goal in Canadian hockey. So many of the circumstances then can never exist again.

I watched that too. It was a classic between teams at the very peak of different styles of hockey. (1972 series was like that too, but expectations and circumstances were different.) We won't see it again... I think they play pretty similarly everywhere now.
