Under investment in nursing causes so many of the problems that nursing staff are then blamed for and left to fix with even less resources. #rcned26

'A nurse is a nurse is a nurse'? Absolutely not. Nursing branches are not interchangeable. Specialists in the care needed in each area are critical to patient safety and outcomes. Nursing isn't just a set of tasks that anyone can do. #rcned26

Fabulous to see Prof Alison Leary giving the KEYNOTE at #RCNEd26 #ED26 The sector is under more pressure now than ever. Cuts to programmes and continued failure to understand the value of nursing - treated as a ‘hotel service’. As a cost not a good return on investment (which it is)

Thought for the second - when does writing with AI become plagiarism. Because for me, if someone or something writes something and someone else hands it on, that is dishonest. Just as when people paid for essays written by others, which has happened forever. #rcned26

Last night over the U.S., the sky erupted — a rare volcanic lightning storm turned the night into something that looked otherworldly. ⚡🌋

Dozens of photographers captured what they called “the most violent light show on Earth,” as hundreds of lightning bolts tore through a massive ash cloud all at once.
Moments like this make you realize just how small — and how unprepared — we really are in front of nature’s raw power.
