Go Birds might be a little optimistic at this point for our offense. Maybe 'please don't make it too hard for our defense' and we hope for a pick 6 is the best we can ask for.

Up at 4:30am again today due to the 'ICE raiding my house in Canada and kidnapping me' nightmare. Heck of a way to start a Saturday after a stressful work week. At least I have a TI4 game later today.

For the first time since 9/5/2025, the Redblacks win 40-39! Beat Toronto, which is the best way to break an 0-16 season.

Switching to 5 day shot cycle. My mood is so dark on Thursdays the last few weeks, then better on the weekends and it's not just work pressure or anything like that.

I didn't have a choice. It was transition or jump off the Salem-Beverly bridge at some point, and the second decision was going to be forced on me sooner rather than later.

The cognitive dissonance of many Americans to watch the full scope of lying, corruption and illegal activity of this administration but to still believe the 2024 election was fairly counted in R controlled states/districts and that the 2026 election will be will be studied in decades to come.

so all the liberals have got to feel really awkward about how, in the wake of those russian bot farms getting blown up, a bunch of their oomfies disappeared overnight while all the leftists they accuse of being russian bots just kept posting, right?

Starting to see more mood swings on the 7 day shot cycle. I’m assuming that if I’m on .5 mL / 7 days then doing something like .4 mL / 5 days is essentially equivalent or is there other considerations?

You can go from 3rd down to 1st down? Big if true

Good luck if you apply! It’s a wonderful country and I’ve been very happy with the move. (5 months until I can apply for citizenship)

God like effort from Ullmark to secure the 2 points! 3 wins in 4.

Sens have consistently had one shit period in all 4 games so far. Hopefully they survive the 2nd and bounce back for the 3rd.

Flyers should keep losing until they fire Tocchet or they are going to ruin Michkov and Martone.

This is starting to feel like a game where the Sens waste too many chances and it costs them, but I hope not. Need to win the home opener and keep the good vibes going.

Need to make the Flyers pay for all these penalties.

Pro: I don’t get American political ads during sports. Con: I get the same We need to grow the Canadian oil and gas sector ad during every commercial break.

I deleted my posts and the mods locked the thread (I was getting brigaded, though I think it was locked due to not being Ottawa related). The message your entire party is sending right now is that there is no room for trans people in the coalition.

They went on to tell me I'm wrong and there HAS to be a debate about if trans people should be allowed to exist, so congrats @democrats.org, I'm out. -1 vote for you.

Floors come with caps in sports, that's a given. Still need a cap.

If the Dodgers win, I’m almost certain of a cap even if it costs the whole 2027 season

If there is a NHL style cap compliance buyout period, they could accelerate the rebuild if they are willing to spend the cash to do so.
