One of the biggest drawbacks of working from home is that is so easy to fall into a jean and sweatshirt rut, especially when my mental health is in the tank, but when I force myself to pick out some of the nicer clothes in the closet it is such an instant pick-me-up.

Said what I'm feeling better on LinkedIn thanks to more words.

I've struggling about how to continue with this account. For years, I've talked about the hopes I had about being a publicly out transgender woman in insurance.

But the thing is, most of those hopes are dead at this point. I barely participate in the industry anymore, as I'm unable to go to most CE conferences. I can get the CE online, but that doesn't replace the connections you get from in person meetings. I can't travel to either of the home offices of my company because (a) travel is close to impossible until I have a Canadian passport and (b) those countries governments have extreme anti-transgender policies to make it unsafe for me to work there. I feel kind of lost, caught between a professional world based in countries hell bent on driving trans people to extinction, and personal life in a country where I'm accepted, but the actuarial profession is somewhat closed to me unless I'm willing to try to pass more exams at 50 years of age, if I'm even still capable of that level of studying and memorization.

I don't really want to be the social media account that keeps talking about how horrible everything is. That's not healthy for me, and it's not great for others either.

So I'm just not sure what is next.

The catastrophe of 1933

The transformation of a democratic revolution into a Nazi tyranny in just 14 years is the topic of this game. The rise of the NSDAP is an ongoing point of contention in historical scholarship. The list of possible reasons is long: the so-called "Shameful peace" of Versailles and the associated question of reparations, the stab-in-the-back lie and related narratives, the world economic crisis of 199 with the associated collapse of American loans and finally a Reich president who came into this office as a candidarwa of the anti-republican "Reichsblock" and convened the president cabinets of Bruning, von Papen, and Schleicher after the economic crisis.
