I follow you in the hopes of absorbing some of your skill through Bluesky! :P We are starting ink work at class and I need all the help I can get!

I liked this. The monster was fun, the idea was really interesting, and it brought back Annihilation in my head with the screaming bear thing! 7/10

1/10. I want that hour and a bit back of my life please. The incest-coding (is that even a thing), the awful story, the strange decisions, and then the ending! Not to mention the (lack of) acting. Urgh. This isn't a fun film.

Inktober at art class. I loved working with the Indian ink and brush.

We started using inks this week at art class and yeah I am like “omfg I follow this person on BS that does amazing line drawings”. I didn’t know you use a fountain pen though! I thought like microns or something?

So I see the people who made the incest Folgers Coffee advert also made a film too?

First off, screw whoever recommended this. I did not need two jump scares and a fear of rabid copper pipes. Second, it was good, better than The Cave, and it was the “still in the cave” ending too. 7/10

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Day 67, Film 68 - The Descent Figured why not complete the set, seen The Cave too. Now we need “the slightly dark soft play area”

A movie poster for the descent that features women who are crouched together to form a skull.

Oh yeahhhhh. :/ Started a new story using my Alphasmart Neo2, and the lithium cell must be dead, and the bus journey jostled the darn batteries, as I tried to start it up to send it to google docs, and got the "data has changed" error. Bye bye 2k words. I mean it's only 2k, but still.

It was… ok? Why people approach an unknown “dead” alien all the time to check if it’s dead when you could be emptying another clip or tossing more explosives in, I don’t know. 5/10

Every film looks like Aliens. The cafeteria scene is like wow, it’s good to know how these sirextors also loved Aliens too. Also smarmy asshole “boss” doing stuff to be pedantic isn’t ever getting old.

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Day 66, Film 67 - within the Rock So is this inner space in Dwayne Johnson or a porn film featuring Dwayne Johnson, or a documentary surgery… you get the idea.

Oh it’s awesome and a little grumpy!

A movie poster for within the rock showing a geriatric alien that’s grumpy for being woken up from a nap and now its giant head is floating through space.

It says “the ultimate predator unleashed” which I assume isn’t Samuel J Geraldine, the geriatric alien above.

I don’t know I feel. 800~ men and 8 women in Antarctica to restart civilisation… the “acceptance” of women to become a commodity, nuclear war started by American rocket-for-willies generals, and then a love story as humans die out. 6/10?

Queenie ❤️🏳️‍⚧ @alysnoire.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Day 66, Film 66 - Virus (1980) It’s not strictly horror but I saw Antarctic base and was like “omg omg” and put it on… I guess it covers horror-ific events? No?

A movie poster for the film. It’s, showing a yellow sky, a red sun or circle and two people and then at the bottom a silhouette of someone running from a nuclear cloud and also someone wandering with a stick.

It’s been a crappy weekend, and a recovering early week so far. I’ve got a few more things to try and sell, including a pile of books, my spare camera, and a smart watch. Hoping they sell. If they do it will poke me to sort more stuff out.

4/10. There was so many similarities (including gun noises) to Aliens, and it just didn't work. And Lilith taunting the MC was so silly sounding. The ending was great though. Mess with the vamp, you get the toothy-pegs!

#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days Day 65, Film 64 - Child's Play This counts, as I've only seen snippets from childhood.

6/10. Zombie alpha idea was good. Baby zombie scary. Action people shooting stuff, obvious bad guy, and unexpected ending, it wasn’t a bad watch at all.

There is no anti memetic division is done. I feel like I devoured it too fast. It was amazing and horrific and yeah. I wish I was there at the start when it was a seed on SCP foundation. One line made me well up. “It’s the first thing it took away from us. But I remember.”

1/10. Watch it if you are slipping into the void, and need a reason to go quietly. Or if you have decided that moving pictures is evil, and need that one last film to sever all ties with cinema forever. THE WEREWOLF DESIGN ON THE POSTER ISN'T EVEN THE SAME TYPE AS IN THE FILM. *rawrrrrrrrr*
