In the 50s shampoo companies started printing the instructions "Lather, rinse, repeat" on bottles to sell more shampoo. They only print instructions so the can print the "repeat" part.

Courts usually stay an action where irreparable harm can be done while the case is pending. Not this SCOTUS. They have allowed DJT to keep sending immigrants to third countries, some with horrible human rights histories, while deciding if it's legal. On the shadow docket. Destroying people's lives.

Also there is very little the House can do about inflation.wo a clear majority in the Senate. People don't understand. Inflation coming down doesn't mean lower prices, just the rate of increase slowing. Gas and diesel lowering would mean stopping the war and tariffs and getting a deal with Iran.

Cornell does not have the right to dismiss felonies. Rape is a crime in NYC (and everywhere else.) NYPD should arrest the perpertrator(s), indict them and bring them to trial. Nothing Cornell decides about this should have any effect on the enforcement of the law.

I was at that rally. It was the 1st campus event for Dicky after Kent State. It was a Billy Graham Crusade. When the hundred of so of us who were protesting saw that every GOP candidate for office in TN was on the stage we decided that it wasn't a religious and got vocal.
