Just finished Big Walk. The bulk of it was pretty fun, even if somewhat slow, but the brilliant ending sequence tied it all together. We had a blast. I hadn't felt like this since Journey.

People acting like gamers back then were blind for looking at this and not immediately thinking it looks gorgeous. I was a teenager back then and I also thought it looked bad until they showed a way more convincing trailer at E3 the following year.

Watched the Luo Xiaohei Zhanji (The Legend of Hei) movies. Really liked the 1st one. Loved the 2nd one. The animation is impecable, the character designs are awesome, the backgrounds gorgeous, they are full of incredible action sequences, and the plot is basic but enjoyable.

I had tried installing an emoji font through the terminal and that somehow did nothing, but installing it by putting it in the fonts folder worked (for most emoji; a few weird ones such as 🈁️show as an ugly monochrome even if they are included in the font).

Godot doesn't display emojis in Nobara Linux 😭 This is a deal breaker for me. My whole organizational and debug systems depend on them. Seems to be a Fedora issue. Can it be fixed?

I installed Linux Mint. Spent a couple of days tinkering to get some Windows functionality such as being able to configure my mouse or having Super + V bring up the clipboard history. The 3rd day I did some work, then attempted to play indie games on stream and the dream died.

I'm considering switching to Linux when I'm eventually forced to upgrade from W10. I think I have alternatives for all the software I use, except for eagle.cool. I'm not sure I'm willing to give it up, alongside with years of tagged content.

Some people will leave a negative review on a 2D game with a fixed resolution for "not supporting" ultrawide monitors just because it shows black bars on the sides instead of a filler texture.

Yes, "indie game" originally pretty much meant "made by a couple of people in their bedrooms." As indie teams found global success and the industry adapted to capitalize on them, the term became a commercial label implying originality and limited resources.

There was a glitch on Pineapple on pizza that made the baby teleport to the mom's back when syncing between animations. It was fixed on the same frame and thus invisible... except the baby had a trail effect that gave it away. I just fixed it, 2 years later.

Watched Takopii no Genzai. The first half is sooo good, and I love the artstyle. For a moment I thought it was going to be deep, but as expected of an anime, the story goes nowhere and the ending sucks.
