Any #believeinfilm person in the UK interested in a Fujifilm GX617? V.good condition, 105mm lens including the rare centre filter. I have had this camera for several years but I just do not use it enough. Please let me know if you are seriously interested. #filmphotography #panoramic

Shout out to @franceswrites.bsky.social for penning one of the best introductions to a character I've read in a very long time:

At her side, as always, is the Tiger Blessed, Leofric. Bodyguard, shield and surly pain in my backside. Only a six-foot-seven man with muscles the size of his would wear blue tiger print, confident nobody will mock him for it. His arms are covered with a giant, sprawling tiger tattoo. Even his dark blue mullet has goddessdamn tiger stripes shaved into the sides. What a colossal cunt.

Here's a frog. It's his birthday. He's sat on his rock feeling rather smug about his very fine hat. Need to finish his hat (more yellow, some sparkly stars and the pompom) and I'm not sure whether I have the balls to try and paint his eyes. 😬 #nerdlings #minipainting #fringe

On the bench today. People know about Andy @heresyminiatures.com and his *incredible* monster sculpts, right? This troll is a great example. Still pondering colour schemes but I am torn between garish bright amphibian and slimy, dank cave beast. #nerdlings #miniaturepainting #wargaming #RPGs

Thank you. He really was the best cat. I rescued him at age 11. That was in 2018! I don't know anything about his previous life but he was the friendliest, most gentle thing I've ever met. Everyone who met him loved him, even my very allergic dad. My beautiful boy who broke my heart when he left. 💔

More! I scratchbuilt some ships, including one heavily based on the Sulaco from Aliens. Will count as a light cruiser, probably a Dauntless class? Also found a very rare Voss-pattern battleship I did not know I had. These are horribly expensive today (there's one on eBay for £235!!). #nerdlings #BFG

I've had this little ash bowl I made for a few years. Nobody ever bought it because it's a bit boring and had a little split that I repaired. As it's Chichester Pride this coming weekend, I thought I'd make it a bit more interesting. 🏳️‍🌈 #woodturning #pride #chichester

Great fun! I have a Nishika which is basically the same. Have stuff in the fore, middle and background so the parallax effect is obvious. Flash is useful as the apertures are quite small (f/11 and f/16 on the Nishika). Dev, scan, combine the four frames into an animated gif. Here's a quick example:
