I’m about to spend $5000 on a microphone and I need you guys to tell me it’s a good investment so I don’t feel like I’m spending irresponsibly okay?

I’ve been using digital amps for a long time, and despite them being indistinguishable from the real thing at this point, I’ve been longing for something more tangible lately. I’m tired of looking at screens! I might grab a Deluxe Reverb soon…

My month long trip to Japan ends tomorrow. It’s been a great first time experience, and I’d really like to come back soon. I want to see more quiet places outside Tokyo. Those have been the spots I’ve enjoyed the most.

Currently chilling at an onsen by the beach, sipping my beer, just watching the lighthouse do lighthouse stuff. This is nice.

I have the opposite of imposter syndrome: when I finish a song, I sit back and think “damn, I’m actually cracked.”

260

Alterclad @alterclad.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

really hope I finish this in time for a 2026 release 🤞

My next song will be coming out in March. I’m really excited to share it. It feels very nostalgic and bitter sweet, and has a sound you don’t often hear in vocaloid. Look forward to it!

I think I might put out an album this year. I have more than enough songs for it, and having something physical would be really nice. Put some cool art in it and all that! Physical media really opens some creative options too, so I’d like to explore it.

2025 marked a lot of big milestones for me as an artist: - my first song to reach over 500k streams - 80k monthly listeners - got partnered on YouTube Let's do even more in 2026!

I finished watching Made in the Abyss the other night and it’s just been living in my head ever since. Nanachi and Mitty’s story really hit me hard. I especially loved the second season though. Faputa’s growth was beautiful and inspiring to watch. Just an incredible experience.

I released my song "Problems" earlier this year. The theme is a bit heavy, but there's a sax solo so I think it kind of balances out? Give it a listen and let me know what you think. YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp2F... Streaming: tr.ee/YfJrQb6sp1 #altercladmusic

I genuinely think this app would stick a lot more for people if the Discover feed was replaced by the For You feed. The prior doesn’t reflect the posts you interact with, and it’s a big turn off seeing stuff I don’t care about constantly injected. It’s the reason I left at least!

Upgrading your pc really feels like a domino effect sometimes. Need a new cpu so need a new mobo that supports it. New CPU needs more power so need new PSU. New mobo is DDR5 so need new memory. Now performance is bottlenecked by gpu and at this point it’s literally a new pc 😭
