Jump rope is such a slept on cardio exercise. 5 minutes feels like the equivalent of 30 minutes jogging.

Ngl I really wish I went to AX this year. I was suprised to see how much Wuwa stuff was there. Fingers crossed next year works out!

I just found out the wipes I’ve been using to sanitize my hands for months now are in fact not meant for human skin 🫠 it’s kind of insane that the only indicator of this was one little sentence in a wall of text.

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

It’s still insane to me how good K/DA’s songs are. The writing and production on those tracks is on par with the biggest modern artists today. I’m so hyped to see them coming back.

You can’t make this up. A power outage corrupted my PC last week and I took it as a sign to finally switch back to Mac. I ordered a Mac Mini and finished restoring all my files and projects this morning. I start working and what happens? The power goes out again. I’m so unbelievably mad right now 🙂

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

So I’m just about set up on my Mac and it feels good to be back. Only hiccup, and this is actually insane, is you just straight up can’t use a multi channel interface with Discord, and it’s been a bug for 5 years! Discord devs please, fix your software

I was about to order a Mac Mini and the delivery date says August 17th… we don’t hate AI enough

010

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

man I'm so glad the costs of all our favorite devices keeps going up just so I can get a generic summary of information that would have taken me otherwise two seconds to figure out on my own yaaaaaaaaaay

000

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Maybe I’m just getting old but I’m exhausted of modern tech. I’m slowly reverting more and more to analog options for things I’d normally do on my PC and it feels good.

I’m starting to realize there may be a significant portion of gatcha game players that have never played other video games before

000

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

I forgot to post this while I was there, but I saw Cissne while in Japan! Their new EP is so good, and the live experience was just as good.

"If the reason you're hesitating is the price, buy it; if the reason you're buying it is the price, don't buy it" I just found this quote in a random jp comment and it speaks to my soul.

000

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

Sometimes gatcha games have so much word salad I just straight up don’t know what they’re talking about. Like we don’t need some crazy name for every little thing please bro 😩

I haven’t studied Japanese in a hot minute and it’s really starting to show LOL I’m out here struggling with basic conversation aaaaaa

Less than a week before my trip to Japan!! I’ve been doing some last minute shopping for it, including these new shoes. I’ve been a Converse guy my entire life so it’s feels very weird wearing them. They’re so chunky! I’ve heard they’re great for walking though, so I’m excited to see how they do.

I've been playing through Dark Souls 1 for the first time and I'm really impressed by how well it's held up. I thought I'd struggle with it, having played fromsoft's more recent titles, and while the mechanics are obviously not as polished, it's still a lot of fun!

000

alter @alt2erclad.bsky.social · 07/03/2026

I've never been a big fan of subgenre labels and the people who act like they're an authority figure on what is what. WHO CARES! Why put everything in a box? It feels counterintuitive to art.

Plants update: my echeveria is struggling hard. I thought I was giving it too much light due to some brown spots forming, but after reducing its light it’s only gotten worse so now I’m thinking I watered it too soon. It’s sitting under a grow light all day now so hoping it recovers!

The new csm chapter is really getting my hopes of for the return of a certain character. Maybe I'm just coping, but I feel like there's been a few hints now. Please Fujimoto.

Sometimes it can be frustrating when people don’t understand what makes something you love so good, but that’s just life! People prefer different things, don’t connect with certain messages or themes. It can be difficult to accept sometimes when it’s something you really love. But you have to!

“Top 10 anime sound effects” and it’s all just distorted sub drops 😒

One of my favourite things about Umamusume is how the idol music has almost no narrative purpose, yet they go absolutely stupid with the quality of the songs. Easily on par with franchises completely built around the idol concept.

It’s my first time propagating and I was a little worried the little guy wouldn’t make it since the parent wasn’t too healthy, but when I checked this morning there was a little white part that wasn’t there before. It looks like it might be okay after all.

With generative AI reaching nearly indistinguishable levels, I'm very appreciative of artists that document their process. I've been thinking of how I could do the same with my own work. It's certainly more effort, but transparency will continue to become more and more valuable.

I came across this pin while cleaning. I don’t remember who I got it from but it’s cute so I’m going to put it on one of my bags

Illustrators that always draw the same character are so cool to me. For one subject to invoke so much art is inspiring.

This song has been on loop for me ever since I finished watching Made in the Abyss. The strings and vocals are so pretty. If I focus on it too much the emotions start to well up so I have to distract myself a little while I listen to it.

While I was cleaning I compiled all the little keychains I’ve purchased at cons. I don’t buy much anime merch but I like to get these since they’re a lot more low key.
