I got the pcb for the toy! And it turns out I accidentally used SMD footprints for the diodes. I guess I have to get the right diodes now... At least they're pretty cheap. Just make sure to get the right type, Marc. And then you can learn to solder surface mount components. #diy_electronics

My kid and I are learning Z80 Assembly programming together. Kid: why do we have to put the byte into the register first? Why can't we just put it directly into the other memory address? Me:
