I used to go round my house singing along to that! But I had no idea they were saying MF so I just mumbled that bit. 🤣

Ah, Electro 9 was the first one I bought (on tape of course) so that's my favourite (except the first two maybe).

Baby Ford - Chill Out - Keeping the Faith 👍 I'll have to revisit Electro 8 as I can't remember what was on that one.

Got some stock at the boot sale, including a few #weekendsingles. Never going to leave William DeVaughn's classic or Jimmy Page's greatest moment behind.

Did they just play the famously shit original LP pressing?

Hijack on a 45 is very nice. I got that Young MC on a 12 yesterday at a fair as well. My mate loves it but he didn't know 'Know How. How is that even possible?

Black Squirrels are the norm in some of North Herts and Cambridgeshire. But they are just a grey squirrel variant and from the US. Still a big surprise when i moved here. You don't see them south of Welwyn Garden City.

Saw a Smokey album at the record fair yesterday with this same picture. Hideous.

It was awesome. Sold a lot of records, chatting with some great people and heard some (mostly great) DJs. Then off to one of my favorite ever bands with two of my favorite people.

A fabulous farewell. A blast of 7 ways to love during He's on the Phone was a treat.

Just seen that the album he did with them (and Island rejected) in 1978 was eventually released. Will check it out. www.discogs.com/release/1538...

Rowans is still going! Was our choice destination for local late drinks. One of those out that night later wrote a sociology paper using Rowans as an example of a community asset / third space.

No idea. There was a bunch of us as a friend had a band on Pete and Bobs label. Actually it might have been Bob who was out, not Pete. And a guy who played a Doctor in Eastenders.

I went 10 pin bowling with Pete in Finsbury Park around the end of the last century.

It's not April Fools. You can now play the massive Skyrim game accompanied by an Ikea Kallax I don't know much about this game, but this takes adventures in record collecting into a new world. Can you fill your Kallax companion? @webuyrecords.bsky.social #weekendsingles
