Got some stock at the boot sale, including a few #weekendsingles. Never going to leave William DeVaughn's classic or Jimmy Page's greatest moment behind.

It's not April Fools. You can now play the massive Skyrim game accompanied by an Ikea Kallax I don't know much about this game, but this takes adventures in record collecting into a new world. Can you fill your Kallax companion? @webuyrecords.bsky.social #weekendsingles

Loving the Czarface album with Tom Hardy. Didn't know he'd been appearing on their records for a few years. This one's from 2022.

Really fancied a Pimm's but was missing the usual ingredients. Pretty good all round. Used Orangina instead of lemonade.

A #weekendsingles tribute to the great Dolly Parton. I'm sure that even Ruth and her poor ears would agree with Shoulder Pads that she was a fine human being.

Here's some cheap 45s from the market for #weekendsingles. Not seen the Wobble 45 before - it can join the various 12s I already have.... It also has the best pic on the reverse - Wobble looking suitably🍳.

Well I like the single so let's see if the rest of this LP is the same standard.

Not the same without the ridiculous amounts of bass and cuss words on the 12 inch, but still great to hear.

Lots of great versions on the BassOMatic 12s as well. In the Realm of the Senses was also I think the first release on Guerrilla Records. Here's the Burrito Beat mix #raveyardshift youtu.be/3TGmg9eOh4Q?...

Another William Orbit favourite for #raveyardshift. My first Kraftwerk album was The Mix so I already loved the pumping update of Radioactivity. William took that and went one step further with a couple of mixes. This is my favourite, but only on the US 12" at the time. youtu.be/FjdtCYnsvvI?...

Great quote. Arf Arf. www.theguardian.com/football/202...

Speaking after the game in Kosovo, Zalgiris’s head coach, Zeljko Sopic did not hide his frustration at the scheduling clash, complaining that the team will have to move “because of a concert by some dog or somebody”, adding: “It’s better I don’t say anything about that. It is what it is.”
