Did a test print of the larger Lancaster/lincoln rudder, fits perfectly. Need to add details like panel lines, bump stops and reinforcements. But I’m bloody happy at this as it’s was the worst part to design!

Avro lincoln or Lancaster GR3 extended rudder. This thing has been an absolute pain to draw. But it’s nearly done, just need to add some small details, panel lines etc.

Edited to the correct size, and reprinted. Will test they fit fully tomorrow, but a rough size comparison with the original parts would indicate they’ll be just fine!

These have come out alright!! Had to edit the design slightly as it was slightly too wide (my own fault) so that’s been sorted, and the radios have been centred. Will do a final test print tomorrow and check everything fits perfectly.

at the edge or the ailerons to extend them. The rear fuselage gets an extension just behind the bomb bay doors, and a the nose. With a Mk31 Australian extension too. I still have engines & rudders to do. More updates to come with a release date soon. 2-2

So for the past couple of weeks, I've been working on a rather large project for the Lancaster. This is still very much a work in progress, but this will convert teh Lancaster, to the Lincoln using the Mk2 kit. I'm following how Avro extended their wing tips, by cutting them 1-2

Lancaster 1/48 nose turret delete for the HK kits. printed one off already, fit was 95% perfect, just needed a slight but more adding to the rear. I've edited the design and the second version is on the printer now.

Completely redrawn the 1/48 nose turret delete as I wasn't happy with the flat section on the top it it. This version is much more naturally rounder. I will test print this evening and see how it fits.

The 1/72 & 1/48 GBU-16 have come out perfect, just need to alter the supports on the 1/72 version as they’re a little thin. 1/32 version is nearly done, but looks ok so far.

Sherman deep wading kit, design is 99% finalised, just going to add some sacrificial tabs to the lower funnel parts, so it prints perfectly. Parts will be fully 3D printed, rather than part resin, part Photo etch metal. Will be available in 1/35 & 1/48 soon.

Rear section printed out after adjusting the supports. All parts fit perfectly, and friction fit together nicely. These are pre production, and I’ll need to add details before the design is complete. Still bloody happy with how the grills have come out!
