Good Mornin Bluesky 🦋 I have stepped away from all social media for the past months. It was too depressing. I needed a break. I did turn on CNN once daily just to see if there was an obituary. I will be sitting on the sidelines of Bluesky, reading posts to see.if things have changed. Stay safe!

Trump's Greatest POSITIVE Accomplishment is the establishment of Operation Warp Speed which created a vaccine in record time. Millions saved! His Greatest NEGATIVE Accomplishment is Nay saying the vaccine and many died needlessly and now canceling mRNA research. He couldn't let science win.

My assessment was based on their nonchalant press conference. Neither expressed outrage or any level of discontent. I expected a strong rebuke. It wasn't there. This is as close to a Martial Law Declaration as you get w/o crossing the line. Soldiers are not Police they are occupiers.

Good Mornin' Bluesky 🦋 I haven't been online much this past week. My Father-in-law entered End of Life Care in Hospice. I am beyond amazed at the loving, caring and sensitive staff and volunteers at the Hospice. They make a difficult time peaceful and loving. They are what caring is all about.

Having been born in the 50's, I have fond memories of visiting places in the U.S., like NYC and Lake Placid. There was a time when Canada and the U.S.A. played together like the European Union. According to our Prime Minister (and my heart), "those days are over". I am grief stricken. 😔

I posted yesterday about the Tariff indicator on grocery items. I hope they go a couple steps further and add a country or EU indicator for non-Canadian or non- tariff goods. Some things aren't Canadian. If I want something and my choice is EU or Brazil or USA, the non-USA item(s) goes in the cart

Grocery stores are adding graphics to their price stickers. This image shows a price sticker for an item that has an upward price adjustment due to TARIFFS. T in a triangle is becoming a universal indicator. Canadian items have a red maple leaf (Surprise!). NO Maple leaf, no space in my cart!
