We skipped a cake because 1) it was money I didn’t feel like spending and 2) it was an another decision after the 538 other decisions I had to make and I was tired. We had a nice big cookie table with some other mini desserts and everyone was happy!

Have you gotten the Novavax brand yet? I got that one this year and didn’t have any of my normal side effects like I always get with Moderna.

Apparently my husband got up and fed the cats this morning and when I woke up 30 minutes later I fed them again, not knowing, because these turds were acting like they hadn’t just eaten! Happy Caturday 😼

All the time. I really don’t think I’d be where I am today if I hadn’t said “fuck it” and moved to the middle of nowhere Louisiana at the age of 24. I really learned to grow up that year of my life.

Gotta try and hide it! I almost always sauté zucchini and add it to pasta dishes or I’ll add frozen spinach to cream sauces. Masks the taste but still gets the nutrients.

I worked a mile away from Fort Hood for 8 years and knew hundreds of people who live in the area and many who were there when this tragedy took place. I can guarantee that 99% of them are against a fucking live feed of this guy’s execution.

I might write everyone little notes and bake something. Notes of thanks are always meaningful for people

Why are crouton servings measured in tablespoons? Is that if I like crush them up and measure the powder? Cause one decent sized crouton is probably about the size of a tablespoon and I’m not eating 2 croutons.

I don’t buy beef a lot so I’m not sure what other cuts cost. We mostly eat chicken. But this was outrageous. I think I paid like $10-11/lb last time I made tacos but I draw the line at $13+. My husband just eats beef, cheese and black olives on his tacos so I’m not paying that price!

This was also at Giant Eagle. I’m sure Walmart has it for like $9/lb but I don’t feel like making an extra trip. Turkey is healthier anyway!

Granted it was for the extra lean. But I didn’t want 80/20 for tacos cause that’s too much fat. Ground turkey was less than half the price and healthier. My husband will never know!

I’ve had a productive morning! Did 2 loads of laundry. Made apple syrup for my coffee because Starbucks didn’t bring back its apple oat shaken espresso. Did the dishes and emptied the dishwasher. And put up more fall decorations!

I got the newer 9 strain version a couple years ago cause I figured doesn’t hurt to get protected from more strains! And I had gotten it 17+ years earlier so a booster never hurts!

I got the vaccine within the first few years of approval like 2006ish when I was 15 and I’m pretty sure the last thing on my mother’s mind was “is my child sexually active?” It was likely “oh the pediatrician said to get this so I trust them”
