ah, nanimon. and he's one of the pre-digimon digimon, too!

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 1h

hmm.. well a lot of the royal knights either go together or are kind of 'out there' and only part of the group on a technicality, so you could group some and leave others out to get the numbers to match up. do you definitely want to pair them based on type/looks, or would you consider personality?

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 1h

lol same, it's honestly a bit painful for me to read. Makes my throat hurt too because i get immersed and it feels like i'm yelling XD But i do have a dyslexic friend and she doesn't have the capitalization issue- so like. Everybody's different! I'll tailor my speech to who i'm talking to.

010

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 2h

There is a guy in a forum i go to where we use all caps when we talk to him cuz of that.

120

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 2h

ah, okay. Didn't know that. Sorry.

010

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 2h

i'm just a rando who doesn't go here but i do know a lot about digimon and would be happy to talk about it.

110

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 2h

yeah, i agree about punctuation and things that make it harder to interpret what someone is trying to say, i just don't see how capitalization in particular affects that. a period marks the end of a sentence and the next word being capitalized changes nothing.

i was so excited to see my boy animated in something official again- i had to isolate and stabilize this shot! i'm just so happy he's still a part of these things even 30 years later TuT #wizarmon #wizardmon

031

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 14h

oh, so they're bad at speaking AND an asshole to their kids... not surprising i guess

010

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 15h

i am actually having a rather difficult time understanding what op was trying to say. what do posters and 'kicking off' have to do with eachother? what did they mean by that???

100

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 16h

hey, at least you don't really need capitals to understand what i'm saying or how i'm saying it XD but generally, i agree that proper grammar and correct word usage are pretty important for conveying meaning.

100

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 16h

lol, stuff tends to take off CUZ it's kinda rough anyway

001

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 18h

bait, i hope? cuz that's really fucking awful on multiple fronts.

000

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

a lot of these recent posts and responses have made me start to think the uk is a lot more like the us than i want to believe T.T at least when it comes to the people. lot of y'all are just as ignorant, self-absorbed, and rude as you expect all americans to be!

000

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

i really dunno why so many anime hosting websites use a weird fanmade dub/sub hybrid for digimon without even disclosing that's what it is.

For those who are curious about Digimon, but don't know where to start game-wise, "Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition" is a good introduction to the series IMO and is currently on sale for $4.99 on Steam which is a steal for 2 games in one. store.steampowered.com/app/1042550/...

while i understand the sentiment of wanting do-overs, that's a living being you're talking about, and that sort of manipulation of their memories/lives is pretty fucked up, and i hope you realize that soon.

000

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

yeah this is a fan remix, not official, which i don't know why it even exists because there IS actual english audio for this scene, it was dubbed before 9-11 and then the whole scene was cut after due to bombing mentions.

all the other hiccup hacks, like drinking from the wrong side of the glass, a spoonful of sugar, and being startled, do the same thing of 'resetting' your breathing (by interrupting it or distracting you intensely), they just vary wildly, whereas my method ALWAYS works.

000

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

oh i already did. all you have to do is reset your breathing, which you can do by setting it to manual for like 15 seconds. remove ALL distractions, think about NOTHING but your breathing, each inhale and exhale being fully controlled and not automatic. hiccups will cease.

110

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

it honestly just makes me sad how many people genuinely believe 'you didn't eliminate the problem 100%' somehow invalidates 'i reduced the problem a significant amount', as if making the world better isn't a worthwhile goal cuz it won't be PERFECT???

041

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

i can see some truth to that. i know tons of female gamers (and am one myself) but it's extremely rare to encounter them in gaming forums and such because they're generally too smart to waste their time with the toxic cesspit that is the male side of gaming who love arguing in those spaces.

A lot of guys I'm seeing are mentioing that they aren't saying anything because they're afraid to come off as "performative". Guys, please be performative. Please be cringe about it. That fear you have to look bad is the same fear that shut the 50 other group chat members up. Say something

i've got a whole document compiled of pokemon and digimon that use the same concept and it's really fascinating! not many times i prefer the pokemon version over the digimon one, tho ^^;

110

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

it's such a horrible coincidence- digimon couldn't be LESS maga and it's usually pretty politically aware (hell the two main takeaways from this first chapter were 'man i shouldn't have called the cops' and 'i'm too poor to live')

010

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

that last bit made me realize they should probably change the digimon's name...

130

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

oh no... the name of the main digimon character in the new manga... is MAGA. someone please talk to the writers and translators and get them to change this T.T

you'd think that full-length pants and close-toed shoes would be part of the requirement if a lab coat is. just standard safety shit.

it could also help to set aside time each day specifically for your wife's family. like instead of getting random calls throughout the day, set up a time for them to call so you both know it's going to happen and can plan around it. this will also politely remind them she has her own shit going on.

020

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

i've dealt with this with my husband. his family were a bunch of magats, so most of the time he was just being verbally abused essentially, but he's always had a VERY hard time refusing ANYONE what they want, so it took talks and time for him to learn that it was okay for him to prioritize himself.

120

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

remind her that if it's important they can leave a voicemail and she can call them back, or ask them if they could text instead so she can see what it's about and decide whether to respond right away or if it can wait till she's done with whatever you two are doing.

100

AlphaGodith @alphagodith.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

just talk to her. ask her what they are usually calling about and why it's so important to her that she has to interrupt what you two are doing for it, every single time. tell her how it makes you feel neglected and remind her those two are adults and should respect that she has her own life now.
