Nothing reinforces the Cartesian/spinozist notion of universal human capacity (or even platonic?) like slowly waking up & feeling like “I’m just a brain” with thinning abilities then gradually remembering all the particular memories & inclinations of your individual subjectivity like “oh right ugh”
