I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free

Congratulations to all the Democratic candidates who won tonight. It’s a reminder that when we come together around strong, forward-looking leaders who care about the issues that matter, we can win. We’ve still got plenty of work to do, but the future looks a little bit brighter.

Happy to share our work on the mechanism of glycolysis in cancer now published in the journal Nature Metabolism. This was a large part of my postdoctoral work carried out in the lab of Prof. @almutschulze.bsky.social at the @dkfz.bsky.social and at Uni Wuerzburg. www.nature.com/articles/s42...

I have mixed feelings about the article "Behind the Graduate Mental Health Crisis in Science". It gives the impression of causality, i.e., that science is the cause of the worsening mental health crisis, but this may be a reflection of societal shift. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
