Already do - I have vivid memories from childhood visiting Nan and Grandad in abuse, North Cornwall. Back then the crews were called by loud flares being fired - we would hear the cars racing through town to the inshore lifeboat house. Still in awe of their bravery.

Started watching The Wargame last night. Genuinely fascinating and terrifying all at the same time. Whoever put together the scenario is brilliant - it’s not a large leap from where we are right now, which is what makes it fascinating and terrifying.

Barca has ruled out a move for Alvarez so apparently he is now waiting to see if a bid from PSG or Arsenal happens in January. Could have saved himself a load of uncertainty and be scoring goals for fun if he’d made the decision to join us in the summer.

Yeah I don’t get the doom sayers - we missed out on Alvarez, but not for want of trying. There are few players that improve our squad so getting them to join is never going to be easy. We have excellent depth (as you point out) and much better equipped than last season - reasons to be positive!
