I grew up watching the original #StarTrek. I was excited for #StarfleetAcademy. And so disappointed. It had such promise. Then the "chancellor" of the academy was portrayed as a barefoot hippie. I expect more from Star Trek leadership. The 2nd season has been filmed. And that's the end. Cancelled.

I baked a #cake (chocolate fudge from a box) for the 1st time is ages. Maybe decades. I put it together wrong. Top layer upside down. It only took a moment. But hard to correct. Flipped it. More frosting in the middle. Very light on the sides. It's OK. I bet the grands won't care that it's wonky.

I ordered a pizza with a 6 cheese blend. Waited until after eating it to look up the cheeses. Mozzarella, Provolone, Fontina, Asiago, Parmesan, and Romano. Fontina, Asiago & Romano are new for me. Add to Brie & Cream cheese and I'm up to EIGHT whole cheeses. Oh, and small bits of cheddar - NINE!

Screwed up a credit card payment that's going to cost me. And all things Christmas. It will be what it will be. Sad.

I planned our #cremation & burial today. Pre-planned, pre-paid, toast to earth. No visitation. I told them I wanted popcorn in my pockets before cremation. Got to find ways to express myself. I have friends volunteering for the role of #death. Just to stand off in the distance. Quiet & mysterious.

I just finished the #DanBrown book, #SecretofSecrets. If you are unaware Dan Brown weaves a fictional story through all kinds of facts - science, art, locations. For the 1st time ever, I want to go to Prague. He also introduced me to nonlocal consciousness. Solving a problem in my belief . . .

I have #leukemia. #CLL. I have a negative measles titer. I can not have the #MMR. My former #vaccines no longer protects me. #Measles in immunocompromised individuals can be fatal. This is a reminder that you might need an update. I am grateful to those getting the MMR to protect their community.
