Yes, IF we lived in a perfect world. And Trumps absence from the news cycle would have been appreciated during his first run. My concern is that media hardly pushed back; too little too late. Now some members of press are being denied access out of PERCIEVED political affiliation. That's bad.

yes and I think its time for some admendments to our constitution! Besides a Second Bill of Rights, we need a Third Bill of Rights. One that enshrines the right to a neutral internet, public media, freedom from religion, fair access to good food and water, and seperation of corperation and state!

Truly independent journalists are vital to a functional democracy. I don't need (or want) to agree with every journalist on everything as due diligence and critical thinking are just as vital. I'd argue that those three are FAR more important than being "tough on crime," "family values," or whatever

My opinion is that law enforcement should get a warrant or court order approving the use of encryption in a limited scope. Otherwise, if I have nothing to hide, then sure they must have nothing to hide too. Then and again, look at the Patriot Act for a similar idea that turned out peachy keen.
