Been exploring games I played as a child. I LOVED Starfy as a kid. . It was a very cute and age appropriate story with simple platforming mechanics. Entirely too simple for me to play now, definitely for kids. I'd get this game and the Japanese titles for my kid.

Been exploring games I played as a child Ninja gaiden on the DS was creative, novel, and a fantastic way for a kid with poor fine motor skills to DESTROY their DS touch screen. Would not give my kid this game unless I wanted to replace the console. I'm having a great time replaying tho.

Been exploring games I played as a child. FF Crystal Chronicles was chaos as a kid due to the unhinged online multiplayer. It's a clunky hack and slash adventure. Playing it now feels..... Youthful. I'd still play it with my child.

I rewatched Yuyu Hakusho while I was pregnant and....this final trial? This is childbirth. He goes in the cave, receives a light, struggles in pain and gives it his all for a small innocent being.. He exits the cave exhausted, wrecked from pain and with a new power. Can confirm, this is childbirth.

Insane people will pay $20 for alfredo sauce. Here is a 5 minute alfredo recipe: 1. melt butter 2. add pasta water and milk/cream and bring to a rapid simmer, stirring constantly for a couple minutes 4. take off heat, stir in grated parmesan cheese 5. toss with pasta this is not worth $20

Finally watched Takopi 's Original Sin. The world is persistently devastating while Takopi is persistently naive. I think the enjoyment of the series depends on how tolerable you find both these aspects. I enjoyed it but I understand where folks would drop the series or feel discomfort. #anime
