Three Things About Emmy Crawford is six months old! If you need a break from the news cycle and are after hope, humor, and romance + a hate letter to health insurance -- this one's for you. :) #booksky

Nebraskan here (far from a Republican tho)- I'm embarrassed on behalf of my state and my country, reeallllly worried about how this will impact our most vulnerable citizens, but also aware this is the result of FAFO. T*ump told us exactly what he was going to do, and now he's doing it.

Okay, this is super weird, but-- when I was a sixth grader, a fifth grader bit my ankle. 😬 So I guess write the book? There are at least two kids (one who is now 41) who are Hungry For Ankles.

In our continued effort to get to know our Bluesky community better, we’re curious…who are your five favourite FEMALE SINGERS / VOCALISTS of all time? Brandi Carlile Sara Baralleis Pippa Soo Madonna Kelly Clarkson (Tbh Chappell might make this list someday)

Here is the pre-RFK vaccination schedule for your kids. Please download it before he is confirmed and changes/deletes it. Give it to your pediatrician and say this is the schedule you want your kids on. Making this my pinned post.

Gosh, I wish I could offer guidance but I'm a YA novelist and have never taken on a PB! I bet there are other folks who know this stuff, though.

I'm also trying to ditch Google docs because of AI! Which is unfortunate because it's super handy

Voice notes are super handy for brain dumping ideas on the fly and then transcription later! One of my CPs wrote big chunks of her novel this way and it was fascinating. #kidlitchat

Okay, I totally need to look into the Bluesky drafts app. Is it collaborative? I'm trying to get away from using Google Docs to work with CPs because of the AI component.

It's a challenge for YA novels to get the newest tech written authentically-- i.e., the trending social media, video games, even emojis (I usually don't even try). I've already had to remove Twitter from one novel, JUST prior to publication! 🤦‍♀️ #kidlitchat
