Nothing brings me joy like a Judge absolutely destroying this DOJ in an opinion

failed to show proper purpose. The Government has not submitted any affidavits or other
evidence to show proper purpose. See Comley, 890 F.2d at 541 ("[The affidavits of government
officials have been accepted as sufficient to make out a prima facie showing that these
requirements are satisfied."). Instead, the Government simply points to the April 22, 2025
Memorandum of the Attorney General directing the Civil Division "to undertake appropriate
investigations" to make the argument that since the Government would not have issued the subpoena unless it was for an "appropriate" investigation, the subpoena must have been issued
for a proper purpose. This logic, if followed, would preclude any form of judicial review as the
Government's self-proclaimed say-so would always be sufficient to defeat a motion to quash.
This is no logic at all.

strictly separated on the basis of sex and comparably provided to each sex. 🚨 Department of Justice targets DIY HRT in Memo In a memo dated June 11th, AG Bondi has tasked the Civil Rights division of the DOJ target all entities involved with gender affirming care for youth. This explicitly INCLUDES online pharmacies which are often used by those obtaining DIY HRT.

The Civil Division will use all available resources to prioritize investigations of doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and other appropriate entities consistent with these directives. These efforts will include, but will not be limited to, possible violations of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and other laws by (1) pharmaceutical companies that manufacture drugs used in connection with so-called gender transition and (2) dealers such as online pharmacies suspected of illegally selling such drugs. 31 U.S.C. § 301 et seq. In addition, the Civil Division will aggressively pursue claims under the False Claims Act against health care providers that bill the federal government for impermissible services. This includes, for example, providers that ttempt to evade state bans on gender dysphoria treatments by knowingly submitting claims to Medicaid with false diagnosis codes.

DATA DURING A PROTEST
There are risks associated with attending a protest, and taking steps to mitigate them can go a long way in ensuring you-and the data you value-are kept safe.
This guide outlines steps you can take before, during, and after a protest that will help keep yourself and your data more secure.

PROTECT YOUR DATA:
• Use a strong password and remove fingerprint unlock & Face ID. An officer could try to physically force you to unlock your device
• Take photos/videos without unlocking your device
• Back up your data. Your device may be damaged, lost, stolen, or confiscated
• Enable full-disk encryption on your device
• Install Signal for safer communications
• Wear nondescript clothing and cover identifying features. Avoid being identified through face and tattoo recognition technologies.
PROTECT YOUR LOCATION:
• Enable airplane mode and turn off location services
• Download area maps and plan meeting spots ahead of time
• Consider biking or walking. Prevents license plate readers from recording your vehicle's exact time, date, and location
• Disable 2G on your phone to prevent your phone from automatically joining a cell-site simulator's network. For more information on cell-site simulators and turning off 2G for your phone's operating system, read SSD's full protest guide.

IF POLICE STOP OR ARREST YOU:
• You can refuse to provide your password or unlock your device
• You should tell the police, 'I choose to remain silent,' and ask for a lawyer
• If you speak, don't lie
• Be aware police might seize your phone and try to search it later with a warrant, and you may be booked into custody
• Remember: every protest is different, so these tips are general suggestions for better data security and do not constitute legal advice or counseling. If you have specific legal concerns, seek the advice of a licensed attorney.

VIDEO & PHOTO CONSIDERATIONS
• Police and others may search images for any identifying features, including clothing, tattoos and belongings, not just faces. These features can also be used for doxxing.
• Be mindful of what you post before, during and after protests, as police can often access social media posts.
Black out the faces and identifying marks of protestors. Scrub metadata on photos, for example by using screenshots of images instead of the originals.

In workplaces and services that are open to the public: • trans women (biological men) should not be permitted to use the women's facilities and trans men (biological women) should not be permitted to use the men's facilities, as this will mean that they are no longer single- sex facilities and must be open to all users of the
opposite sex • in some circumstances the law also allows trans women (biological men) not to be permitted to use the men's facilities, and trans men (biological woman) not to be
permitted to use the women's facilities • however where facilities are available to both men and women, trans people should not be put in a position

of "diversity, equity, and inclusion" initiatives.

(lii) promptly provide to accreditors any noncompliance findings relating to member
institutions issued after an investigation conducted by the Office of Civil Rights under
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d et seq.) or Title IX of the

Planned Parenthood of Arizona has stopped providing Gender Affirming Care for ADULTS in response to threats from the Trump administration. To be clear: Gender Affirming Care for ADULTS is being attacked and basically banned by the Trump administration.

US immigration officials will begin screening the social media accounts of immigrants for antisemitism before determining their status, the Department of Homeland Security announced today.
Under the new guidance, US Citizenship and Immigration Services officials will consider content indicating an immigrant "endorsing, espousing, promoting, or supporting antisemitic terrorism, antisemitic terrorist organizations, or other antisemitic activity as a negative factor" while determining their status or whether to grant them a visa.

🚨Texas has introduced a bill that would make it felony fraud to say that your gender is anything except your gender assigned at birth. This an extreme bill, which most likely won’t pass, but signals the intensity is continuing to increase against transgender people in the US.

SECTION 1.
Subchapter D, Chapter 32, Penal Code, is amended
5 by adding Section 32.515 to read as follows:

Sec. 32.515. GENDER IDENTITY FRAUD. (a) A person commits

an offense if the person knowingly makes a false or misleading

verbal or written statement to a governmental entity or the
9
person's employer by identifying the person's biological sex as the
10
opposite of the biological sex assigned to the person at birth.

(b) An offense under this section is a state jail felony.

SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.

This headline is incorrect and misleading. This is a full ban on transgender people serving in the military. The waiver requires you to prove you are not trans, have never transitioned, and have lived as your sex at birth for a period of time. @usatoday.com needs to correct this.
