One of the nice things about buying most of my gas at Costco is the ability to track purchases. Same location, same octane each time. Last week, for instance, gas was $3.85. A week before that, it was $4.36. Last year at this time it was $2.99. Two years ago, it was $3.38.

Has anyone considered the effect of tariffs on food seasoning? We don't grow much peppercorn here in the US, so most will be subject to the 46% tariff on Vietnam. Sure, it's cheap, but it's also ubiquitous. A small increase on every meal leads to outsized inflationary effects.
