THANK YOU. So am I 😭 definitely a personal highlight

I met Morfydd Clark on Sunday and managed to somehow speak coherently through heart palpitations. I gifted her a drawing of Galadriel and she signed a copy for me 🥹 She’s even more lovely and kind in person than you’d hope.

Having spoken to multiple artists who say it’s perfectly reasonable to ask that you’re credited for your work: I just wanted to say don’t let anyone else shame you or give you grief for doing so. It’s a perfectly fair thing to ask and at every artists’ discretion 😁

I feel you on that. We put so much work into it, it’s fair to feel that way ♥️

A very fair point tbh that I think some people don’t really get! But if you’re an artist, you get it

It’s good to know that this is a universal opinion then! Wasn’t sure if I was overstepping

They don’t follow me either 😭 I might see if I can contact them. And yeah, I find that a lot of people also react negatively to artists asking for courtesy too (not that I’m assuming this person would too, but yknow what I mean)

Alright good to know I’m not being over the top or anything about it 😅 my signature on the drawing is also cropped out which is kinda… yknow the feeling haha I really don’t think it’s difficult to credit someone, especially when their name is on it

Question for #ArtistsOnBsky or my #TROPsky artist friends re fandom etiquette. What’s the process for people using your illustrations as their pfp? Is it polite or considered normal to credit the artist in their bio or with a post? Is it normal to be mildly irked when you’re not credited at all? 😅
