I met Morfydd Clark on Sunday and managed to somehow speak coherently through heart palpitations. I gifted her a drawing of Galadriel and she signed a copy for me 🥹 She’s even more lovely and kind in person than you’d hope.

Having spoken to multiple artists who say it’s perfectly reasonable to ask that you’re credited for your work: I just wanted to say don’t let anyone else shame you or give you grief for doing so. It’s a perfectly fair thing to ask and at every artists’ discretion 😁

Question for #ArtistsOnBsky or my #TROPsky artist friends re fandom etiquette. What’s the process for people using your illustrations as their pfp? Is it polite or considered normal to credit the artist in their bio or with a post? Is it normal to be mildly irked when you’re not credited at all? 😅

All I draw is pictures of Galadriel with her very nice human boyfriend because she deserves to have him. Yknow, as a treat. #TheRingsofPower #Haladriel #HumanHalbrand

Luthien & Huan, cultivator & her spiritual dog🌾 For the "Cultivation" prompt of #TolkienTrewsday #TolkienTuesday #Tolkien For this piece I mixed Tolkien's fantasy with cultivation novels, a subgenre of xianxian fantasy where characters refine their spiritual energy through martial arts and music🎶

Coloured illustration of Luthien and Huan. They both appear sitting in a green field, with mountains in the background and a pink sky.

Huan appears as a fantastic black and white huge dog. Luthien as a young woman wearing a blue hanfu with her dark hair half up tied with two hair sticks.

She's playing a guqin and there is a beam of light coming out of her right hand and spiralling in the air, symbolizing the spiritual energy of the melody she is playing.

It seems I’m no longer the only person who’s posting about Adar on here! 🥹 Here are my newest drawings of him 🖤 #adar #theringsofpower #trop #pastelartist

Fiery pastel drawing of Sam Hazeldine‘s Adar, painted at a time when I still hoped against hope that he would survive season 2.

Pastel drawing of Sam Hazeldine‘s Adar. The colours are a bit somber here, because I drew it after watching him die.

Pastel drawing of Joseph Mawle’s Adar, who I still love very much as well. His face is illuminated by sunlight, for what Adar probably thought was the last time.

Howiya 👋 I’m Ali (same @ over on tolkientwt). I post TROP and LOTR art (mostly Galadriel and human Halbrand content) while also sometimes ranting about football and LFC. Looking to find my old mutuals and maybe new pals!
