Just watched the first 3 episodes of Avatar: Seven Havens. Oh my god, the music! It's basically going all-in on a retro-futuristic soundscape, with synths and everything. Totally Vangelis sound! It's such an odd choice, and really gives the story a 'new, uncharted alien world' vibe. I love it!

Honestly, the reason I've come to really dislike modern Star Trek is basically that we had 40 years of Star Trek being "If humanity gets its shit together, there's a wonderful future full of hope where we can realize our true potential", and then modern Trek instead is like "Is Stafleet bad tho?"

That is, unless he'd found my social media and worked out that was my surname, like by my banner or something. But even then, my listed email address everywhere online is different, so he'd have had to do some really weird shit to get the right one.

It's my real surname, but I've not gone by it since long before I encountered him. Since before I've ever been known to him I've gone by Ali for first name too, not Alison, so even if he worked out my first name was Alison the only surname he'd know would be 'Gundam'.

I literally use PDFs any time I have to send out an invoice for my home business use, and he couldn't even do that. Because, let's be fair, he just copy-pasted from ChatGPT.

But on a real base-level sense, it means I've now gone 7 months without having seen a single TV show that's been remotely enjoyable or entertaining. Strange New Worlds, Wonder Man, and next month's Rings of Power... literally the last new show I watched and enjoyed was Daredevil.
