This is my personal experience. Don’t take this as anything universal. There are as many experiences as there are Trans people. But I’ve just come to a point where even trying to remember what was before is difficult. I’ve always just been me, Alice, the woman you see and know here.

Screenshot of my own post that says: For a long time, I used to say that in transition, I was the same person, just with a different coat of paint.

However, I fundamentally feel and live differently than I was. Yes, my past trauma and experiences colour who I am today. But I do genuinely see my pre-transition self and cannot, for the life of me, recognize that person.
Nor do I remember much of it.
The longer time passes, the less I recognize the person in old photos and handful of memories.

Today, I’m simply Alice.

Trans Wonder Woman is such a badass inclusion and wonderful representation. While this specific instance is Nia Nal in Dream Girls # 1 (which has an explanation that I won’t spoil), I really wish we could have a mainline Wonder Woman series where she is Trans. And not just a special issue.

One of them was shouting in her direction, and Kelver heard several homophobic and transphobic slurs as he began approaching her.
Moments later, according to court testimony and surveillance footage, the man shoved Kelver to the ground hard enough to injure her tailbone.
Kelver responded by drawing a pistol from her bag, chambering a round, and pointing the weapon at the man who had pushed her. She kept the safety on and never fired. The man and his companions retreated.
Today, Kelver, a 28-year-old trans woman, faces two felony charges-aggravated assault and possession of a deadly weapon with unlawful intent—which could carry up to 15 years in prison. The man who shoved Kelver and who allegedly initiated the confrontation, known only as "S. Durham," has not been charged.

This also means that a mere mention of someone can spiral into more than what it is. So with some of the files being public, I would say be careful of making definitive statements until it can be vetted in some way.

The problem that we’ll often find while going through the files is that rich powerful people tend to communicate through assistants or third parties.
Making it hard to draw definitive conclusions about anyone.

This includes horrible people like Rowling. Right now her connections are mostly circumstantial. Though she has associated herself in some way with other (alleged and convicted) abusers like ex-prince Andrew, Greg Ellis, Depp, and Nicola Murray

This will have far wider ramifications than previous rulings.

Today, the corrupt Supreme Court of the United States is hearing oral arguments that, while about trans inclusion in sports, will mean whether or not trans people have a right to equal protections under the law.

We most likely won’t know the ruling for a while now, but given how they ruled to strip away healthcare from trans youth, I have little faith they’ll do the right thing here.
I expect them to use their ignorance and beliefs to justify their malice.

People who cheer on fascism don’t care about the truth. Especially when they think they’ll benefit from the systematic oppression of others. They’ll find any reason to ignore the truth and justify the killing and oppression of those they view as lesser.

Ultimately, those who cheer on fascism don’t care about the truth. They make up their own “facts” entirely based in their own beliefs.

That’s what we’re seeing with those cheering on the US regime invading other countries.
They don’t care about the innocent people who were killed or are about to die under US occupation. They didn’t care when around a million Iraqi people were killed.
Hell they don’t even care right now about the current genocides even when shown proof of the horrors.

They’ll straw man the hell out of anyone who calls it out though (pretend people are “pro-Maduro” to suit their narrative for example). Say that no int’l law was broken despite a clear invasion and interference in a sovereign nation. Or outright victim blame (we’ve all seen a version of “it’s Palestinians’ fault for their oppressors killing them”).

But they just don’t care about the truth. As long as it doesn’t happen to them directly, they won’t care.
