i'm curious about the overlap between "ai" haters (people who are normal about computers, don't anthropomorphize, etc) and folks who take precautionary measures against covid infection (people who mask, run HEPA air filtration, etc)

wondering if it's worth putting code only props ("role=", "labeled by") in figma components to encourage designers to Think About Stuff and Jam w Their Devs more in the file

wish figma would signal where overrides were made on instances. i like the the way webflow does this in their ui.

hey @capitalweather.com do you guys keep long running on the "daily digit" anywhere? i'm curious what the average daily digit is, and seeing that broken down across seasons. or if we have more "good" (7 or higher, imo) days VS "meh" (4 - 7) VS "bad" (3 or lower) weather days

folks should know that wife swap was doing what we'd all recognize today as the gunshot sound meme all the way back in 2004 (s2e9)

Frog put the cookies in a box. “There,” he said. “Now we will not eat any more cookies.” “But we can open the box,” said Toad. “That is true,” said Frog.

@figma.com do you have a product team working on the Publishing workflow from Figma Design? do they want to talk to a power user on an enterprise account? i'll get on the phone at any time of day for them.

working on a way to set "artwork complexity" modes to figma icon component instances that also have a sense of dimensions... eg a 12x12 icon's artwork has to be simpler due to size constraints than the same icon at 32x32

🚨BREAKING 🦠 On Friday, the US CDC arbitrarily shifted higher COVlD levels into lower categories depicted with cooler colors. Much of what was Very High is now "High." What was High is now "Moderate" or "Low." Low is "Very Low." 1/

did u know that when u have multiple layers selected in figma, the "all selected colors" section (one of my favs, massively useful) will only display values from non-hidden layers. but.... a non-hidden layer can be set to 0% opacity and its color values will still show up in that section :)

designers, do you feel like you can't have any of the following without losing color overrides on instances? - duotone icons - multi color icons - fully editable, multi layer icons what are some other examples of icon styles or constructions that feel out of reach?

The NPS will launch 850,000 fireworks in the middle of the night. (Last year, they launched 7,000) That will dump perchlorates and heavy metals into the Potomac River and cause the amount of soot and smoke particles to skyrocket (pardon), at great danger to any creature that breathes.

every company: we've added AI to solve this problem me: ok but that problem is deterministic with easy to measure input parameters. you can just make regular software

Kit's big release the other week was nice and all except they really buried the lead: v4 of API finally exposes endpoints for sequence emails. i care way more about that than any other announcement made
