Yesterday the governor's veto of yet another bathroom ban, HB1442, was upheld. Thank you to the 142 Democrats and 7 Republicans who voted not to overturn it. This legislation protects no one, is impossible to enforce without being invasive, and only creates a culture of fear. #nhpolitics #pride

Just got word that SB552, one of many anti-trans bathroom bans we've fought against this year has been vetoed by Governor Ayotte. There is still one more, HB1442, that is on its way to her desk but we are expecting she will veto that as well because it's nearly identical to the other bill.

Open campus carry under HB1793 is a horrible idea for public safety, both as someone who recently graduated UNH and as someone whose fiancé still works there. This bill is opposed by 85% of UNH Students and the faculty and campus police, but it was shoved through the legislature despite that.

Today ICE shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis in her vehicle. She was shot in the head while trying to drive away as agents tried to surround her car. I watched the video and in no way was she trying to ram her car into the ICE agents like DHS is already claiming.
