Thanks for the heads-up and you're right, it's problematic. As a podcast series this did some important work, finding the origins of culture war talking points and debunking the resulting conspiracies, but this isn't great, on reflection. Much appreciated.

The podcast does not do those things, and the presenter does not have those views. There is reported speech in the podcast where people say homophobic/transphobic stuff. It's investigative journalism. Did you listen to it all?

It makes no sense that a misogynist frat boy who is happy to rape and talk about rape and judging women's bodies would use a euphemism for jew - one that nobody else in the history of the world has used. I'm not defending him, I'm saying the more likely explanation is he raped Johns Hopkins women.

I don't think it meant Jew. Possibly they previously raped a woman from JHU (Johns Hopkins U), there for a sports match or other inter-U event. It's only 4 hours away.

Are we going to talk about how Amazon have broken all legacy Echo devices? I can't ask my Echo Show 8 to play Suede without getting Slade, it sometimes takes 20 seconds to answer and sometimes it just doesn't respond at all. My Echo Dot says "unlock this device" randomly (it's not locked).
