This world operates on the same fundamental rules of the scarlet and violet games, the day and night cycles are the same length as in game, items are indicated as pokeballs or little sparkles on the floor, if you bump into a pokemon or pokemon vessel you enter a battle, shops don't have interior and are just menus, you get the idea. The vessels themselves are like if a human soul was put into a game model, and that's what they are, the clothes that are a part of the model can't be taken off though some victims have managed to make new clothing from pokemon parts and paint from berries so they can try and look different from others, they are also completely hollow inside, if you manage to take a limb off or something then there would be no blood or bone but they can still feel hunger, dehydration, tiredness, and pain, for food they eat either berries,sandwiches, or food from the vendors and restaurants. Despite being able to feel hunger the victim's can't die from it, the only way a victim can "die" is to blackout from a battle or other means like falling into water or being attacked by Off Model, when you die you get sent to the "in-between" for a random amount of time before you respawn back at the last Pokemon center you used.

Pokemon vessels are the worst type of vessel a victim can have, the victim loses the ability to speak and is only able to make the sound of the cry of the pokemon that victim inhabits, they aren't able to carry more than one item and are not able to carry money so they're only source of food are berries, pokemon vessels are able to level up and evolve but stone evolutions are more difficult and trade evolutions are just impossible for the victim to do (by themselves at least), they also have access to the moveset the pokemon has but they aren't able to relearn moves or get moves from tm's, they can use these moves on player/NPC vessels without initiating a battle, this is another way a victim can blackout. Unfortunately pokemon vessels can be caught by other victims, once caught they lose the ability to use they're moves without their trainer telling them to use it first, fainting does cause pokemon victim's to end up in the in-between but instead of a random time it's just how long until they're revived, getting released also causes them to blackout. The vessel can be of any pokemon found in the wild, including static encounters but only if the model is found in the overworld, for example the loyal three can be vessels but the treasure of ruin can't, also legendarys found after the Indigo disk don't count because I said so.

NPC vessels are a basic kind of vessel a victim can have, they have access to their inventory so they can have as many items as they want but they can't access the map or any fast travel. These vessels can be any of the gym leaders, team star bosses, Uva Academy teachers, rivals, basically any important NPC's so no random trainers can be vessels, I just think it's easier that way. For teams the vessels gets the pokemon from they're first battle so no rematch teams, for team star bosses they get Revavroom but not in the starmobile, for Nemona vessels they just get a random starter, no Pawmi.

Player vessels are the best outcome for a victim to have. They share a lot in common with NPC vessels but they have access to the map and fast travel, they can also ride Miraidon/Koraidon (depending on what version they were playing when Off Model trapped them) witch has access to all of it's upgrades except flight witch means besides pokemon vessels that can swim, these are the only type of vessels that can traverse in water. The look of the vessel depends on what the victim looked like before they got trapped, the vessel will try to replicate their looks as best it can within the limits of the character creation screen, the victim can still change their look.
