Last night I had a dream - nay, a vision - that John Malkovich free-soloed the Sears Tower. John, if you're reading this: you know what to do.

Welp, it finally happened. Some shiftless so-and-so done gone and stole my book and is selling it online under a false name. At least I'm in good company: looks like literally thousands of others stories were skimmed off of Royal Road as well. Here's hoping the takedown I submitted goes quick

Petitioning @letterboxd.social to add the game Mixtape to its catalogue, because a) its basically more movie than game, and b) its a 10/10 masterpiece and I want to tell everyone about it in every way I can.

Tring to get these discs out of the Star Trek TNG The Complete Series Blu-ray box set is an Indiana Jonesian effort. They’re just wedged in there real good.

I've decided that 2026 is going to be the year where I finally give up on my dreams. I just gotta face it: I'm never going to own the Dallas Cowboys.

Kicking off the new year with an old classic: a Halo CE co-op run, on Legendary, with my wife. I'd nearly forgotten the truly ABSURB number of enemies that "Truth and Reconciliation" throws at you sometimes.

I've had Drew Struzan's artwork hanging on my wall for almost as long as I can remember. To me (and many), his work embodied the very spirit of movies, and even though he's been retired for some time now, cinema itself is that much lesser without him. RIP to a true art legend.

I have this recurring misperception of moving, in that I always trick myself into believing all the stress that comes with it will suddenly go away immediately after it’s over. In actuality, that stress takes several weeks to properly dissipate. I now look forward to that fast approaching moment.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is one if the finest jrpgs I think I’ve ever played. Mechanically it’s a step up from the last one in nearly every way, and even after sinking 80 hours into it and exhausting most of the side content, I still didn’t want to put it down.

Finally saw Superman! I got to work on it for about a month, did a bunch of post-visualization for one of the end fights (didn’t make the credits, but so it goes). It was a real complex sequence, and seeing what the finals team did with it was nothing short of stunning. Amazing work all around!

Stepped barefoot onto the craggy, sun-baked driveway of my childhood home for the first time in over a decade. Suddenly had myself a real Ratatouille moment—a thousand summer days flashing through my head at once. It’s good to be back, if only for a moment.
