Finally giving Claude Code a proper go for personal projects, and it genuinely feels like pairing with another engineer. Garbage in, garbage out still applies. You need to do the planning, define the requirements, and think through the solution. The coding is no longer the hard part.

I'm starting to really like @shadcn.com for building component libraries. You own the code yourself and you can extend it as much as you need. No weird or quick hacks to get something working correctly.

So yeah I just tried out @tanstack.com ranger library.... I'll be honest I've not heard anything about this library in a long time, it seems it's in a stable release now which is cool 🔥 I managed to put together a single an dual slider component Gist: gist.github.com/AlexMachin19...

Has anyone had any issues with @yarnpkg.dev v4.6 recently ? I've just booted up my project for the first time in months, when I run a linting command with yarn I get the following error: "The command line is too long." This seems specific to yarn as @npmjs.bsky.social runs the command just fine.

Does @tanstack.com virtual have an example of a css grid/flex layout or window based virtualization ? I've got a grid of items where the numbers of columns vary. I want to lazy load individual rows but the sections don't have a fixed height 😅

I officially hate react native and charts, we've got some charts at work which uses react-native-svg-charts what a pile of dogger you need to do everything yourself 😬 Is there any simple out of the box solutions which allow you tweak it slightly based on config ?

Any #reactnative wizards know why my ScrollView wouldn't scroll in horizontal mode ? Nothing happens, I can programmatically scroll items into view but on my Android device it doesn't want to scroll at all which is bizarre.

Hey @galaxies.dev 👋 Has anyone reported any issues with using Clerk in your @expo.dev Airbnb clone ? I can't seem to get it to login correctly, it never adds the user to the dashboard and it seems to redirect to an unmatched route.
