Something I've noticed lately: Devs are describing their stack as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot... not React, React Native, not Swift, not Python. The AI tool became the identity. The framework became the implementation detail. Anyone else noticing this?

I put a $5 price on a tool I gave away for free. 62 people paid anyway. QuickPush is a macOS app for testing push notifications and live activities. The source code is on GitHub. Free. Always will be. I put it on the Mac App Store anyway for $4.99 — just to see what would happen.

Nowadays with AI it’s easy to sit back and let the agent do your work. Be careful. This is not a time to ease off the gas. This is the time to put MORE effort into what you do. Keep building. Keep shipping. Keep learning. Effort prevents entropy.

Most apps don't need authentication Auth hurts you in ways you don't expect: it adds friction to onboarding, makes App Store reviews harder, forces you to implement account deletion, and creates a whole layer of maintenance you didn't ask for You can always add it later. Ship without it first

I’ve been watching and analyzing ads lately, especially on Instagram, sometimes replaying them multiple times. It’s fascinating what you pick up when you really observe and think about why an ad was made the way it was. Every detail is intentional, and there’s a lot you can learn from that.

💡 Pro tip When developing your application, always test on physical devices. This will save you hours of development because simulators and emulators sometimes don't reflect how everything would look and behave on a real physical device.
