the brother's warning detail is doing a lot of work there, I love when the family knows exactly what he is and she goes anyway. is the black market the thing that brings them together or the thing pulling them apart?

Also, the blackmarket pulls them apart. I‘m not sure if I have it dark enough though. 🤔

Thank you for letting me know that the mention of her brother is doing that much work. I wasn’t gonna put it in there. The brother’s warning is a bit off from what actually happens but it’s pretty close.

I’m still kind of spinning from the fact that 5 different artists have reached out about Veins of Salt and Shadow. I’m incredibly flattered and also very protective of my story. It’s mine and I’m building it carefully.

Hi, I’m Natalie, creator of Veins of Salt and Shadow. It’s an 18+ dark fantasy romance graphic novel about a captain who attracts an unwanted follower, a mermaid. The mermaid is not the tiara wearing kind of fish. This girl has teeth and isn’t afraid to use them. Art and Kickstarter updates soon.

A lot of what’s happening doesn’t seem to be spreading anymore by mainstream media. A tree that stood for an estimated 150–250 years was destroyed today to make way for Trump’s border wall.

Of course. The Supreme Court kicked off its new term today by hearing oil companies’ attempt to throw out a lawsuit seeking to make them pay for climate damage they caused. The outcome could determine whether similar lawsuits brought by cities and counties across the country can move forward.

Not only do we need to ruin the lives of rapists we need to lock them up so they stop being a danger to the public. This is what having so much money does to you. You become an entirely different class of people that measures power by what laws you can break. This is how we get Epstein and Trump.

Also, I made an update to the pack and I wasn't going to say anything because it didn't seem like a huge deal. Then I realized transparency is important to the process but also it's worth writing down the changes for my own sake to keep track of them. I will detail that in another comment above.
