I drew this last week and have been meaning to post it. I watched the “Werwulf” trailer and “oh my god…” I can’t wait. The trailer pushed me to do this little cartoon. I hope you enjoy my joke and are as excited about the movie as I am. Let me know what you think in the comments!

“My love will consume you.” I did a pen and ink drawing a while back and wanted to do some digital color on it, just to finish it up. I also touched it up a little in Clip Studio paint. I enjoy doing these dark fantasy romance pieces. They are a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

“You don’t have to worry; she says we don’t need to change!” If you’ve seen it, you know. If you haven’t seen it, you should. This movie was absolutely amazing, unnerving, frightening, mesmerizing. I hope you enjoy this homage to one of my “movies of the year.” #backrooms

Here is a preview of the first two pages! I love @rlblackink.bsky.social's retro-comic style. It's reminiscent of Golden and Bronze age art from EC and Warren classics, paired with storytelling that calls to mind 90s Vertigo titles like HELLBLAZER and LUCIFER with a dash of SCENE OF THE CRIME.
