Alex Josephy @alexjosephy.bsky.social · 03/07/2025Short notice, but just to say I’ll be reading at the Towner Gallery Eastbourne tomorrow, 4th July, 6.30 -8pm, alongside 5 other local poets. Poems in response to the Sussex Modernists show currently on there. I think it will be a rather lovely evening. townereastbourne.org.uk/whats-on/poe...townereastbourne.org.ukPoetry Café Eastbourne— Towner Eastbourne 010

Alex Josephy @alexjosephy.bsky.social · 24/11/2024I saw a goldfinch today, battling and dancing in the gale. And thought of this gorgeous goldfinch poem in Isabel Bermudez’s ‘Bar de las Reminiscenzias.’ 150
Alex Josephy @alexjosephy.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Poetry pamphlets are great! Clare Best’s ‘End of Season’ (Frogmore Press), dual language English and Italian, also a song cycle, is a current favourite. Delicately detailed landscapes and vignettes carry a moving emotional arc. And Maria Isakova-Bennett’s cover image holds the poems beautifully. 040
