I do not wish Magic fandom on anyone, but this current squad is fun when everything clicks. My kids have only lived in NYC but I accidentally made them Magic fans. I told them it was fine to switch allegiances when the Knicks were rolling through the playoffs last season and they refused.

We read the Education of Little Tree in my HS Eng Class. I said it was garbage and treated Native Americans like noble savages. Everyone in class told me I was wrong and it was biographical. A few weeks later the local paper ran a story that it was written by a white supremacist.

I disagree with with Emily Wilson, I thought there were many iconic lines in Nolan's Odyssey. "Jesus, this Odyssey could have been an email!" "My guy, I cannot WAIT for the Iron Age." (Upon seeing Laestrygonians) "Seriously?!" I did think Antinuous said "Six seven" a few too many times.

Every team picks. If the pick was already traded, the one receiving the pick chooses. No one can choose themselves, each team taken once. No immediate benefit to tanking, only helps another team get a better draft position, but there is some benefit for bad teams for the future.

I'm totally with her. It's great that she worked so hard for a cause, and it's ridiculous that anyone would mock her for recognizing someone from one of the most popular shows on television during her youth instead of a movie that came out 20 years before she was born. But also it wasn't that cold.
