That’s how we feel about pretty much all FromSoft games. They are just not really our jam, but we love them anyway, watch others play them, and even have shirts (and maybe even tattoos) of them!

Alex’ and my heart dropped seeing this live in the crowd. That was mean, but also very, very funny!

@gamesdonequick.com: As the dad of a trans son, you have no idea what this week means for us. Alex smiled 24/7, because at GDQ, “being different” couldn’t be more normal. Thanks to staff, volunteers, runners & attendees for this. We won’t stop fighting to make the world a better place for EVERYBODY!

The SGDQ post-event blues has not fully kicked in yet. What’s an amazing event!! We enjoyed so many runs, from Silly Block, to Elden Ring, all the Kaizo runs, Resident Evil 3 on a guitar, the whole final day, and many more. Alex says his favorite run was Cyberia.

@spikevegeta.bsky.social @gamesdonequick.com That was both heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. It encapsulates why why we come here every year. We’re only attendees, but we are proud to help do good in the world with our donations. This community is beyond amazing!!

Wait what? Never heard of this. Thought April Fool was early but no it seems to be real. Wow, okay that’s cool.

It was such a weird mix of campy FMV, 3D action, almost RPG style and point-and-click adventure. I absolutely loved it even if I don’t remember ever getting very far! How many CDs did it come on..?

We are having a BLAST in London. Ran into the coolest YouTubers ever yesterday, and visited a bunch of super interesting places today. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s Prestige screening by @rkgvideo.bsky.social at the Genesis Cinema; you should come too if you’re near: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/watch-the-...

Loved this game. As a kid I thought it was so cool when the protagonist shot behind him without looking!

Not sure why but this was always one my favorite cinematic platformers. I’m a sucker for long cutscenes, so this was an amazing game!

Whoa this looks really cool. Didn’t know about this title. We have a soft spot for cinematic platformers!

We didn’t do anything special, other than clap all week, and donated what we saved since January — but we are still tired and hurt. Thank you @gamesdonequick.com for a great event (we LOVED the new artist alley), and thanks to all the runners, staff, volunteers & everybody else we met along the way!
