Alethea's writing cyborg hack: two spa wristbands and a rechargeable hand warmer on the lowest setting. Puts pressure and heat exactly where the muscle in my arm is giving me the most trouble. Hey, call me crazy but it's totally working for me. And also: CYBORG WRITER #Authorsky

I got a new wand. You're supposed to be able to put a credit card in it and wave it over machines when you want to purchase something. After examining the 3-D print, I'm not 100% sure that I will ever be able to get my card out if I slide it in. It will still be a fun wand to use as a prop... ✨💜✨

Romancing the Stone. I was 8 years old. About 10 minutes into that film I knew - I KNEW - I was going to be a writer. And now I'm writing my first official sex-filled romance novel. That original poster still hangs on my living room wall. (Perks of having a family in the movie business.)

This is a pretty little Sacred Heart, but I swear the cubic zirconia are so small I can't even see them. Can you see them? #MagicShop

A detailed Golden Sacred Heart pendant, with a red heart in the middle and what are supposed to be tiny cubic zirconia all around it. It all just looks like gold medal to me

Let's discuss. 1) Kirkus hated every one of my trad covers. HATED. 2) "girls w/dresses" was popular but these books were VERY BLOODY and ALSO FROM THE BOY'S POV 3) B&N said "Give her longer hair & make it darker!" But in HERO she chopped off her hair & wore pants Dear #Booksky - I fixed them.

The three iterations of the covers onfirst three books in the woodcutter sister series. The top row are the three traditionally published (and very badly Photoshopped) book covers. The middle row are the independently published Amazon "rose" covers, and the bottom row are the independently published hardcovers featuring the name day gift of each daughter. Bottom two row covers were both designed by art director Caitlin Greer

I have doubts about this hat. I have a feeling it's gonna take a lot more effort than I am willing to put in at this moment to make it look better… If any of you have any tips, let me know! 😈🎃

Alethea is trying on a witch hat with built-in horns. There is a wire in the horns that make them adjustable but she can't quite figure out how to make them look proper. In this picture, they don't look proper

When I met Hayden Panettiere she was on the phone with someone's daughter who was very excited to speak to Cinderella. I purposely held up the line & waited while she signed my picture. After she hung up I made sure to tell her what a wonderful role model she was for young women. So glad I did that.
