Watson and Crick Nature paper describing the structure of DNA and Einstein’s most known papers were not peer-reviewed. We must return to the enjoyment of learning for learning’s sake. Only then, will we have interesting papers to write and read.

Second, peer-review is dead. There’s no alternative, I know. But, the idea that peer-review is the only solution is absurd. Again, I do not have a solution. But, it’s worth noting that many of the most famous papers people cite were not peer-reviewed. 2/3

Saying AI may kill people because there’s a bug in the code, is the same as saying that an airplane kills people because there’s an engineering error in its design. These are human errors that need be addressed. But, let’s be clear, the AI, as the airplane, does not have agency.

The statement you quote above (as every other one that’s been published to date) is devoid of any meaning. If someone wants to describe a doomsday scenario, they must provide a detailed, plausible mechanism by which AI would ever be able to destroy humanity. Then, have it peer-reviewed.

Aleix M Martinez @aleixmartinez.bsky.social · 10/09/2026
Indeed. Not just on the absurdity of the 10% out-of-my-gut number, but on the fact that no-one can articulate how AI would kill us all. Next person who wants to make such a claim needs to present a peer-reviewed, plausible path to human extinction.

Basically, when there are many particles moving around (like in a fluid), can we find a singularity (I.e, where the energy goes to “infinity” and the hole things “implodes”)?
