If you lose power during Hurricane Isaias and use a portable generator, remember to run it at least 20 feet away from your home. Never run a generator indoors. Carbon monoxide is a deadly gas you can't see or smell and it can kill in minutes.

I'm not happy with New Balance. I have bought NBs for years 'cause they have factories here in Maine. Buy local and all that. I may have to look at the competition. These shoes are 5.5 months old and the sole is peeling off one of 'em. Started peeling in July and I've glued it once before and (1/2)

Sole of shoe pealing and held up by my finger to take a photo. Shoe is only 5.5 months old.

Nice. Here, you must rely on people reporting their local prices to a website and then look on that website. Prices locally are 30 to 35 cents different from one side of town to the other, even the same brand of gas. Corporate greed in that case.

Also, for the record, my wife has worked in "non-profit" US hospitals in the past. One of them has been bought out be the "non-profit" arm of a for profit company and is acting very much like for-profit. And is in trouble with the state. Too much to explain in a short reply. Good luck to you!

I'm not like most people. I made the mistake one time of having a car loan. Before I could pay it off and get rid of it, i replaced everything under the hood except the transaxle. I even dropped a second engine in it. Nope. Never again. I pay cash now. If I can't afford it, I won't buy it. (1/2)
