Seeing that registration for ConFuzzled has just opened, I'm sad to announce we have decided to skip this edition. Sadly, money can only be spent once, and we chose to prioritise differently this time. Hope to see you all again in 2028 ❤️

I also mourn the passing of Bill Oddie whom I worked with on several occasions He was funny talented and an original Yes he could be grumpy. A characteristic I am proud to share with him. Along with his passion for wildlife. We will all miss him.

Ever wonder what becomes of @confuzzled.org.uk banners? Sometimes, just sometimes they end up on display in a Dutch home being enjoyed every day. This one was from Dylan's Ocean Odyssey (2024), and was originally hung on one of the pool windows. #ThrowbackThursday #CFz #Furry

A large wall banner hung in a stairwell. Underwater setting with a cartoon crocodile, a badger in a top hat and a honey badger in a yellow coat riding and swimming with a whale. Fish, sharks and a hammerhead shark are in the background

Every pride month at least one person sends me this cartoon of @oldsixie.bsky.social at Pride. This year it was @thasceles.bsky.social. Always makes me smile. (credit in link)

A two panel comic. In panel 1 the sixth doctor and Peri are walking down a street, and a pride parade is happening next to them. The parade is very colourful with an array of pride flags and shirts. Various paraders are complimenting Sixie on his coat.

In the second panel Sixie is grinning, surrounded by flags and saying "i have found my people". Peri replies "doctor, this is a gay pride parade", and he says "exactly".

One of my favourite photos from a recent charity event for terminally ill children. I’m joined, in this photo, by @rubeusmarten.bsky.social’s Vlinder and Ollie the Otter ^^ #FursuitFriday #Fursuit #Furry

Two children interacting with three fursuits sat on the ground. One red panda with large ears, one blue otter and one albino white meerkat with a pink nose and glasses. Child in front is facing away from the camera in a green army jacket and is holding an orange plushie. Child at the back has face blurred out for privacy

"I'm getting too old for this..." I kinda see Jèrri has an elderly character - a Grandma - someone who can't quite keep up with the younger generations, but not a "get off my lawn!" sort =P #FursuitFriday

Suited again as Zuberi, but this time with the white cane. To be blunt, the difference was night & day. No more people trying to show me their badges, people stepping aside when I'm walking. Phone users were the worst. It was a real eye opener (pun not intended) on what blind people go through daily

030

Albus @albuscalx.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

Okay, I've been out suiting as Zuberi twice this CFz, & I am just blind while in suit. Both outings were *horrible* experiences. People just don't understand my eyesight is even worse than other suiters. I have been too nervous to try suiting with the white cane, but I think I might have to...

230

Albus @albuscalx.bsky.social · 04/05/2026

After a lot of thought about my eyesight & suiting as Zuberi, I’ve decided that I’m going to start using a white cane. Zuberi’s head has no space for glasses. Contact lenses are difficult for me to use & primary reason for me not suiting.

Albus @albuscalx.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

Few people actually realise just how bad my eyesight actually is. I have myopia at -11.25. I can see detail about 5cm away from my eyes without glasses, and the rest of the world is just a blur. I am legally blind without glasses. (Random photo found online of Queen Steet, Cardiff)
